Sample report

Cal AI sells one behavior before it sells nutrition software.

Two public Cal AI creatives reduce the product to a camera action and an immediate nutrition result. The useful lesson for an indie founder is not to copy the meme or footage; it is to make the product mechanic understandable before adding a feature list.

The creative does less, so the viewer understands more

The strongest shared decision is compression. The camera frame supplies the instruction. The food supplies context. The result screen supplies payoff. A viewer can reconstruct the product loop without hearing a category lecture.

  • The first visual creates curiosity or shows a familiar meal.
  • The physical action is one verb: photograph.
  • The payoff is visible data, not a spoken promise.
  • The UI appears early enough to prove that the ad is for a real app.

What an indie founder should test

Choose the one action that produces your app's clearest payoff. Film that action plainly. Show the result screen at a readable size. Then create three hooks around different moments of need instead of changing the underlying demo every time.

An original concept, not a reskin

I did not open my laptop. I did not make a spreadsheet. I pointed my phone at the problem and got the next step.
AdSnoop concept line

For a non-nutrition app, the line preserves the low-friction structure without copying Cal AI's food, meme, claim, or interface. The founder should replace the generic nouns with one truthful moment from the product.
